§ 50.42  WATERWORKS SYSTEM RATES.
   (A) The following rates and charges for the several classes of users of, or property to be served by, the Brookston Municipal Water Utility System shall be as follows.

   (B)   (1)   Tap fees. Each user shall pay the cost of installation at the time of connection with the water utility.
      (2)   Collection or deferred payment charge.
         (a)   All bills shall be due and payable on the first day of the month following the date of billing.
         (b)   Bills unpaid 17 days of billings shall include a collection charge of 10% on the first $3 of unpaid billing and 3% on the balance of unpaid billing in excess of $3.
      (3)   Temporary users.
         (a)   Water furnished to temporary users, such as contractors, carnivals, and the like, shall be charged on the basis of the above consumption rates as estimated by the Waterworks Superintendent.
         (b)   This division (B) specifically repeals the Ord. 1-2000, approved on January 26, 2000, and shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and signing by the President of the Town Council.
