§ 151.06  SANITARY SEWERS.
   (A)   The owner of the subdivision or addition shall furnish and install, at his or her own expense, a sanitary sewer system to provide for the collection of sanitary wastewater from each and every lot within the development.
   (B)   This system shall include provisions for separate house connections and house laterals, from the sewer main to the lot line, for any and all lots within the development. Said lot service lines shall be constructed in conjunction with the main sanitary sewers.
   (C)   The design, layout, materials, and construction of the sanitary sewer system shall be subject o the acceptance and approval of the Town Board or its authorized representative. Specific requirements for the sanitary sewer system include, among other things, the following.
      (1)   The sewer pipes shall conform to the specification set forth in ASTM C700-71T extra strength vitrified clay pipe, or schedule 40 rigid plastic with minimum of six-inch sand cover, per latest amendment.
      (2)   Joints shall conform to ASTM C425-71 per latest amendment for compression type joints.
      (3)   Installation procedures shall conform to ASTM C-12 per latest amendment.
      (4)   Design practices shall conform to the Recommended Standards for Sewage Works adopted by the Great Lakes-Upper Mississippi River Board of State Sanitary Engineers, more commonly known as the “10 States Standards”.
      (5)   Minimum size for subdivision or municipal sanitary sewer lines shall be eight inches in diameter. House connections and house laterals may not be less than six inches in diameter.
      (6)   Sanitary sewer gradients shall not be less than the following minimum for each diameter noted.

      (7)   Manholes shall be provided along the sewer line at intervals not to exceed 400 feet and at every change in alignment. Said manholes shall be constructed from the pre-cast concrete type sections with sealed joints. The diameter shall not be less than 48 inches. The top section of the manhole shall have an eccentrically oriented entrance opening at least 24 inches in diameter.
      (8)   No sanitary sewer shall be installed with less than 36 inches of cover.
   (D)   In no case shall surface waters, storm drainage, catch basin, roof, or footing drains be permitted to discharge into the sanitary sewer system.
   (E)   Upon completion and approval of the sanitary sewer system, the town shall accept said facilities as town property and furnish all maintenance and repairs thereinafter.
