For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY. This term shall have the meaning expressed in I.C. 9-25-4-1 et seq., or as amended in the future.
GOLF CART. A four-wheeled motor vehicle originally and specifically designed to transport one or more individuals and golf clubs for the purpose of playing a game of golf on a golf course.
OPERATE. To exercise any control over the function or movement of a golf cart.
STATE HIGHWAY. Any street or road under the control of and maintained by the State of Indiana and shall include, but not be limited to, State Roads 43 and 18.
TOWN STREET. The entire width of every way publicly maintained when any part of the way is open to the use of the public for the purposes of vehicular traffic within the corporate limits of the town. The term includes, but is not limited to, STREETS, ALLEYS and ROADS.
