The legislature of the State of Minnesota has, in M.S. Ch. 103F and 462 delegated the responsibility to local government units to adopt regulations designed to minimize flood losses. The intent of the designation on a property is to protect and preserve areas and investments on properties that are subject to periodic inundation by flood waters. This designation includes Floodway (FW), Flood Fringe (FF) and General Flood Plain (FP). The Official Zoning Map together with all materials attached thereto is hereby adopted by reference and declared to be part of this chapter. The attached material includes the Flood Insurance Study for Hennepin County, Minnesota, and Incorporated Areas, dated November 4, 2016 and the Flood Insurance Rate Map panels enumerated as follows: 27053C0069F, 27053C0088F, 27053C0089F, 27053C0093F, 27053C0182F, 27053C0184F, 27053C0201F, 27053C0202F, 27053C0203F, 27053C0204F, 27053C0206F, 27053C0207F, 27053C0208F, 27053C0209F, dated November 4, 2016, all prepared by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
