(a) Existing Alarms. Every business located within the Village equipped with a burglar alarm, on or after enactment of this section, shall obtain a permit therefor from the Village Police Department.
(b) Emergency Alarms. Upon proper application, the Village Police Department or its authorized representative may issue a permit or permits authorizing the installation of emergency alarms at any lawful business located within the Village.
(c) Expiration of Permit. All permits shall expire on December 31 during the third year following the original issuance and each three years thereafter.
