1620.99   PENALTY; EQUITABLE REMEDIES.
   (a)   Whoever violates any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree and shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or imprisoned not more than six months, or both, for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
   (b)   If any permittee or licensee exceeds the safety standards as herein established on more than three separate occasions, as reported by the seismologist, the Chief of Police shall have the authority to refuse to issue any further permits to such permittee or licensee upon subsequent requests and to pursue such authority with injunctive remedies, if necessary.
