(a) There is hereby established in and for the Village the position of Assistant Law Director.
(b) The position of Assistant Law Director shall be filled by a person appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by Council, and the term of such appointment shall be the same as that of the Law Director and shall coincide with his or her appointment.
(c) The Assistant Law Director shall perform such duties as may be directed by the Law Director and under his or her supervision.

(d) Compensation for the Assistant Law Director shall be as determined from time to time by Council.
