The Village shall be responsible for the repair and maintenance of public sidewalks within the Village. The Village shall inspect all sidewalks at least every two years and shall, in its own discretion, upon consultation with the Service Director and the Engineer, determine those sidewalks which need to be repaired. The Village shall be responsible for the full cost of all repairs. The Village shall have the authority to institute a sidewalk repair policy consistent with the terms of this section.
