Pursuant to Ohio R.C. 3735.69 there is hereby established the Brooklyn Heights Housing Council to act as the Community Reinvestment Area Housing Council. The Brooklyn Heights Housing Council shall be comprised of seven members who shall be appointed as follows: two members shall be appointed by the Mayor; two members shall be appointed by Council; one member shall be appointed by the Planning Commission; and two additional members shall be appointed by a majority of the aforementioned members. All members of the Brooklyn Heights Housing Council shall be residents of the Village. The terms of the members shall be three years. An unexpired term resulting from a vacancy shall be filled in the same manner as the initial appointment was made. The Brooklyn Heights Housing Council shall perform the duties and responsibilities set forth in Ohio R.C. 3735.65 et seq.
