351.20 WAIVER.
   (a)    Whoever violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter, for which no penalty is otherwise provided, shall be fined twenty-five dollars ($25.00) if payment for such violation is received within ten (10) days of such violation or seventy-five dollars ($75.00) if payment for such violation is received more than ten (10) days after such violation and less than thirty (30) days after such violation.
   (b)    Whoever violates or fails to comply with the provisions of Section 351.03(q) shall be fined fifty dollars ($50.00) if payment for such violation is received within ten (10) days of such violation or one-hundred dollars ($100.00) if payment for such violation is received more than ten (10) days after such violation and less than thirty (30) days after such violation.
   (c)    Whoever violates or fails to comply with the provisions of Section 351.04(f) shall be fined two-hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) if payment for such violation is received within ten (10) days of such violation or three-hundred fifty dollars ($350.00) if payment for such violation is received more than ten (10) days after such violation and less than thirty (30) days after such violation.
   (d)    Anyone charged with a violation of a section of this chapter may protest the charges by appearing at the City of Brooklyn Mayor's Court within thirty (30) days of the violation.
   (e)    If payment for a violation of this chapter is not received within thirty (30) days of such violation, and the violator has not appeared in the Brooklyn Mayor's Court, the Clerk of Court shall notify the violator of the violation and of the violator's failure to pay the fine for such violation. The notification will indicate that the violator may be held in Contempt of Court and that continued failure to pay may result in a declaration of forfeiture to the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles for the suspension of the violator's operator's license and/or the renewal of the violator's license plate registration (tag renewal) will be blocked, and the assessment of additional fines or penalties.
   (f)    Each notification by the Clerk of Court which is required by the violator's continued refusal to pay the fine for such violation shall carry an additional penalty of ten dollars ($10.00).
   (g)    If fifteen (15) days after providing for notification as required in paragraph (e) of this section, payment has not been received nor has the violator appeared in the Brooklyn Mayor's Court to contest the violation, the Magistrate may direct the Clerk of Court to proceed with the declaration of forfeiture for the suspension of the violator's operator's license and/or the block of the violator's vehicle registration.
