§ 32.06  BADGE OF OFFICE.
   Every police officer, when on duty, shall wear a badge made of some polished metal, on which shall be stamped or engraved in large plain letters the word “Police” (in a conspicuous place on his or her left breast), as a badge of office; but upon the badge worn by the Chief of Police shall be the words “Chief of Police”.
