(A) The Mayor is hereby authorized, at his or her discretion, to establish the temporary banning of parking as needed to expedite the completion of any construction in the city, which construction has been duly authorized pursuant to law.
(B) Any temporary parking ban established hereunder shall not exceed in duration the period of time necessary to complete construction under the appropriate construction agreement.
