The Mayor is hereby authorized to appoint as the Municipal Architect an architect who has had not less than five years experience in building construction or design and who is registered in Ohio as an architect. Such appointment is subject to the approval of Council, by a majority vote. In addition thereto, the City Architect must meet the qualifications contained in this Code of Ordinances.
