§ 288.02 TERMS OF OFFICE; VACANCIES.

The term of the three residents to be appointed by the Mayor shall be three years, except that the term of two of the members appointed to the first Shade Tree Commission shall be one year and two years, respectively. If a vacancy occurs during the term of any member, his or her successor shall be appointed by the Mayor, with the approval of Council, for the unexpired portion of such term.
