§ 1650.04 KEY BOXES ON COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL BUILDINGS.
   (A)   Any building located in a commercial or industrial zone, when protected by an automatic alarm system or when otherwise required by the Fire Chief when access to or within such building or an area on the property is unduly difficult because of secured openings and where immediate access may be necessary for life saving or firefighting purposes, shall be equipped with a key box to be installed in an approved location. The key box shall be of a type approved by the Fire Chief. The Fire Chief shall maintain at all times a list of acceptable key boxes and the suppliers thereof.
   (B)   The key box shall contain keys as directed by the Fire Chief.
   (C)   An approved key box shall be of such a type as to limit access thereto to the Fire Department.
