§ 1440.99 PENALTY; EQUITABLE REMEDIES.
    (A)   Any owner, tenant, lessee, contractor, architect, subcontractor, mechanic, firm, corporation or other person who or which violates or fails to comply with any provision of this Building and Housing Code, for which no penalty is otherwise provided, is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree and shall be subject to the penalty provided in § 202.99 of this Code of Ordinances. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation or noncompliance occurs or continues.
   (B)   For provisions relating to security for the correction of violations, see § 1262.08 of the Zoning Code.
    (C)   The application of the penalty provided for in division (A) hereof shall not prevent the city from taking such other lawful action as is necessary to prevent or remedy any violation, including the enforced removal of prohibited conditions.
