§ 1440.15 FILING OF CONSTRUCTION AND PLOT PLANS; QUALITY OF MATERIALS; WAIVER.
    (A)   The application for a permit shall be accompanied by not less than three sets of plans, drawn to scale, of sufficient clarity to indicate the nature and extent of the work proposed, and showing in detail that the work will conform to the provisions of this Building and Housing Code and all other relevant laws, ordinances, rules and regulations, including the Ohio Building Code, when applicable.
    (B)   There shall also be filed, prior to a permit being granted for the excavation or the erection of any building or structure, three plot plans, drawn to scale, showing the location of all easements, drainage facilities, adjacent grades and property lines, as well as the location of the proposed building and of every existing building and structure on the property.
    (C)   When quality of materials is essential for conformity to this Building and Housing Code, specific information shall be given to establish such quality, and this Code shall not be cited, or the term “legal” or its equivalent be used, as a substitute for specific information.
    (D)   The Building Commissioner may waive the requirement for filing plans when the work involved is of a minor nature.
