(A) The provisions of this chapter shall apply to the construction, prefabrication, alteration, repair, use, occupancy and maintenance of detached one-, two- or three-family dwellings and their accessory structures. (See Chapter 1421 for the Building Code itself).
(B) The provisions of this chapter shall also supplement Chapter One (O.A.C. 4101:2-1), Administration, of the Ohio Building Code (OBC), as adopted by § 1420.01.
