§ 1284.12 OFF-STREET LOADING SPACE.
   Off-street loading and unloading space is required by this chapter as a condition precedent to the exercise of any use in a Class C or Class E District. Such space shall not be less than ten feet in width and 25 feet in length for a building less than 20,000 square feet in ground floor area. Each required loading space for a building of 20,000 square feet or more of ground floor area shall be not less than 14 feet wide by 60 feet in length. Such space shall be located to the side or rear of the building in a Class E District and only in the rear of buildings in a Class C District. Such space shall be located so that during the process of unloading and loading no part of the truck protrudes into the front yard. Each establishment shall have one such loading space for a building up to 40,000 square feet in gross floor area and two loading spaces for a building with a gross floor area of 40,000 to 100,000 square feet. Buildings with over 100,000 square feet of ground floor area require three loading spaces.
