Notification to current residents located within a 1,000-foot radius of any well head in which the city participation on an oil/gas well new lease or current residents located within a 1,000-foot radius of any new wind turbine system(s) location shall be made by the Building Department, by regular mail, prior to the first Planning Commission meeting regarding said project(s) informing said residents that such project is scheduled to be considered for approval and advising the notified residents of the right to comment at the Planning Commission meeting.
