§ 244.04 SUPERVISOR OF DISPATCHERS.
   (A)   There is hereby established the position of Supervisor of Dispatchers in the city.
   (B)   (1)   The Supervisor of Dispatchers shall assume all of the duties of supervision of the dispatchers in the city and shall report to the Police Lieutenant. He or she shall evaluate and develop subordinates and perform all usual supervisory functions. He or she shall maintain accurate records for payroll, police records, audits to CRIS, LEADS and NCIC; shall be the Department’s 911 PSAP Manager; and shall be responsible for forwarding all computer entries of the Mayor’s Court to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles in Columbus, Ohio.
      (2)   He or she shall train all new dispatchers by ensuring that they perform in accordance with proper Police Department procedures. He or she shall provide all necessary paperwork to the appropriate court officials and Law Director. He or she shall manage the ordering and stocking of supplies for the Police Department.
      (3)   He or she shall be responsible for jail custodian duties, including the ordering and stocking of food and supplies for prisoner meals. He or she shall control and maintain all prisoner work release programs and related accounts receivable records. He or she shall assume the duty of dispatcher if needed.
   (C)   The Supervisor of Dispatchers shall be compensated as provided from time to time by Council and shall receive such benefits as are payable to members of the Police Department as otherwise provided in this Code of Ordinances.
