Only commercial office properties, industrial facilities and existing qualified multi-family housing facilities used consistent with the applicable zoning regulations within the area will be eligible to apply for
exemptions under this chapter. Commercial retail uses are not eligible to apply for exemptions under this chapter. As used in this chapter, “existing qualified multi-family housing facilities” shall mean multi-family housing facilities with at least 500 units in one or more buildings owned by the same person on the same or adjacent parcels of land.
