§ 236.01 DIRECTOR OF FINANCE; RESPONSIBILITY OF DIRECTOR TO COLLECT, PRESERVE AND DISBURSE FUNDS.
   (A)   There is hereby established the full-time position of Director of Finance in the city.
   (B)   The duties of the Director of Finance shall be as those provided in Article V, Section 3 of the City Charter.
   (C)   The Director of Finance shall, in addition to all the duties and functions presently assigned to him or her by the City Charter, be responsible for the collection and preservation of all moneys of the city, including license fees, fines, court costs and waivers. He or she shall receive and preserve such moneys in such manner and form and in such places as Council may direct. He or she shall receive and disburse all public moneys coming into his or her hands pursuant to such requirements as may be requested by the authorities having lawful control over such funds.
