§ 848.06 CUTTING TREES LESS THAN 16 INCHES IN DIAMETER; CLEAR CUTTING PROHIBITED.
   (A)   As part of a landowner’s logging operation for which he or she has received an approved permit, no person shall cut a tree under 16 inches in diameter, as calipered four feet above natural grade, within the city, unless and until a recommendation and approval (with specific reasons set forth therein) of the same are received from a certified forester.
   (B)   Clear cutting is not permitted by a landowner and any permit requesting such will be denied. The harvesting of lumber by a landowner will be selective, and trees to be logged will be pre-marked as per the landowner’s permitting application.
