§ 234.01 PRESENTATION OF BILLS FOR LEGAL SERVICES; APPROVAL.
   (A)   The Law Director is hereby directed to present to the Finance Director and the Finance Committee of City Council for approval all bills for legal services rendered to the city. The Law Director is also directed to convey copies of said bills to the Mayor and members of Council.
   (B)   Any and all bills presented to the Finance Director by the Law Director and/or the Department of Law, other than the salary and/or any other fixed remuneration, shall be presented by the Finance Director to the Finance Committee of City Council for approval prior to payment. The Finance Committee shall approve said payment if it finds said bills to be in order, and upon such approval, the Finance Director is authorized to pay said bills. The Finance Committee may, in its discretion, refer the matter of the payment of any questionable bill to the City Council for approval.
   (C)   All bills presented by the Law Director and/or the Department of Law shall specifically include the case or matter by name, the docket or case number and the hours expended thereon.
