§ 832.01 DEFINITIONS.
   As used in this chapter.
   “Public picnic.” Any gathering or assembly of persons at any public picnic or recreation place to which admission can be had by payment of a fee or by the purchase, possession or presentation of a ticket or token, or in which a charge is made for caring for clothing or other property, or any other gathering or assembly of persons at a public picnic or recreation place to which the general public may gain admission with or without the payment of a fee.
   “Public picnic or recreation place.” Any place where any person (other than the owner of such place) or the general public is allowed or permitted to enter, frequent, come into or use, either free and without charge or for hire or upon payment of some fee or charge or thing therefor, for the purpose of rest, relaxation, recreation, amusement, eating, lunching, picnicking, social intercourse or diversion.
