(A) The salary of the Mayor shall be determined by Council and shall be payable in equal bi-weekly installments.
(B) (1) Council hereby authorizes the reimbursement of expenses incurred by the Mayor in the discharge of his or her duties of office in the city in an amount not to exceed $2,500, per year.
(2) Said reimbursement may be claimed by the Mayor by providing documented evidence of said expenses to the Finance Director, along with a requisite request for reimbursement in writing.
(3) The Mayor shall also receive full medical coverage. Effective December 3, 2007 the Mayor shall contribute to the monthly medical insurance premiums at the same rate as Level 1 non-bargaining full- time employees.
(C) For use of the Mayor/Safety Director’s personal motor vehicle for city business, the Mayor/Safety Director shall receive $2,400 per year, to be paid in equal monthly installments. Effective December 3, 2007, the Mayor shall elect to either use a city-owned vehicle or receive the stipend for the use of his or her personal vehicle at the beginning of the Mayor’s term and said election shall remain in effect without change for the entire term.
(D) The Mayor shall not hold any other full-time employment.
