(A) Every applicant, approved and accepted, before being granted a license required by this chapter, shall pay an annual license fee of $50 for the privilege of operating or maintaining for operation each juke box or mechanical amusement device.
(B) Each license shall expire on January 1 of each year. The applicant will pay a pro rata portion of the annual license fee for his or her first year of operation, the same to be determined by the part of the calendar year which is still remaining at the time of application.
