(A) No license shall be issued to any person to conduct a hotel, motel, tourist court or rooming or lodging house in the city unless such person has first made application and presented information required by the Chief of Police. When application for a license is made by or on behalf of a partnership, corporation or association, such application shall be made by the manager, officer, agent or other person who will have the charge and management of such hotel, motel, tourist court, rooming house or lodging house.
(B) The Chief of Police shall report to the Building Commissioner the results of his or her investigation of each applicant.
