§ 814.02 LICENSE REQUIRED; FEES.
   (A)   No person shall conduct, keep, manage, operate or cause to be conducted, kept, managed and operated, either as owner, lessor, lessee, agent or attorney, any hotel, motel, tourist court or rooming or lodging house in the city without first having obtained a license from the Building Commissioner to do so. The fee for each license shall be in accordance with the following schedule:
      (1)   Hotels: $100 plus $10 for each individual unit;
      (2)   Motels: $100 plus $10 for each individual unit;
      (3)   Tourist courts: $100 plus $10 for each individual unit; and
      (4)   Rooming and lodging houses: $100.
   (B)   Every license shall expire on December 31 of each year. The first year shall be pro-rated on a monthly basis.
