(A) Each department utilizing part-time clerical assistants shall be permitted to utilize said assistants consistent with the budget otherwise approved for said department.
(B) Council recognizes and reaffirms the positions of part-time clerical assistant as established in Ordinance 132-99, passed July 26, 1999, and Ordinance 207-99, passed November 15, 1999.
(C) Any part-time clerical position may be staffed by one or more individuals as may be designated by the Mayor or his or her designee at any given time, provided that the maximum number of hours permitted in said departmental budget is not exceeded.
