§ 230.02 GENERAL ACCOUNTING CLERKS.
   (A)   Establishment of Position; Classifications. There is hereby established the position of General Accounting Clerk in classifications of General Accounting Clerk I, General Accounting Clerk II and General Accounting Clerk III.
   (B)   Qualifications.
      (1)   General Accounting Clerk III. This position requires a minimum of six months experience in bookkeeping or one year of college or business school training in bookkeeping or accounting.
      (2)   General Accounting Clerk II. This position requires a minimum of one year experience in bookkeeping, or two years of college with courses in bookkeeping or accounting, or other equivalent combination of training and experience.
      (3)   General Accounting Clerk I. This position requires a minimum of three years experience in bookkeeping or accounting, or three years of college including some advanced accounting course, or other equivalent combination of training and experience.
   (C)   Compensation. The compensation for the three classifications of General Accounting Clerk shall be established and included in the pay ordinance of the city approved by Council.
