§ 70.15 DRIVING ACROSS SIDEWALK OR OTHER WALKWAY TO CROSS PRIVATE PROPERTY, TO CUT CORNERS OR TAKE A SHORT CUT.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person driving or operating any vehicle to cross any sidewalk or other walkway in the town for the purpose of driving across private property in order to cut corners or to take short cuts whether or not there shall be a driveway constructed across such sidewalk or walkway at the place of crossing. This section shall not render it illegal to cross any sidewalk or walkway at any place where a driveway has been constructed for the purpose of entering private property for the transaction of any lawful business thereon.
   (B)   If any person shall so drive any vehicle across any sidewalk or walkway the fact that he or she shall not bring the vehicle to a full stop upon such private property shall be prima facie evidence that he or she did not enter such private property for the purpose of transacting any lawful business thereon.
