There is hereby adopted by reference the provisions of F.S. Ch. 316, the Florida Uniform Traffic Control Law, which shall be in full force and effect in the town as if fully set forth herein, except that no person shall be charged under this chapter with a violation of the provisions of the aforesaid Florida Uniform Traffic Control Law under the form or authority of a municipal ordinance of the town if his or her actions include or arise from any activity that is part of the entire field of regulation of firearms and ammunition preempted by the state pursuant to F.S. § 790.33 and HB 45, and all future amendments and revisions thereof as the same may be amended from time to time.
