§ 33.04 PUBLIC NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETINGS.
   (A)   Whenever the Council calls for a special meeting, the Town Clerk shall post public notice thereof at least three days prior to the date of the meeting, except for special meetings called due to an emergency that requires the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety or general welfare, which meetings shall be convened without complying with the aforesaid delay.
   (B)   The public notice shall state the date, time and place of the meeting and the purpose for which such meeting is called. The notice shall be posted at the entrance to the town hall and at two other prominent public places within the town in a manner that the notice is clearly visible to the public from the exterior thereof.
