§ 112.18 INELIGIBILITY.
   (A)   No retail liquor license shall be issued to:
      (1)   An individual who is not a resident of the village or a partnership where at least one partner is not a resident of the village. There shall be no residency requirement for a state corporation, or a foreign corporation licensed to do business in the state, which is in good standing;
      (2)   An applicant who is not of good character and reputation in the community in which he or she resides;
      (3)   An applicant who is not a citizen of the United States;
      (4)   An applicant who has been convicted of a felony under the laws of the state. The conviction of a felony by the principal officers or stockholders of a corporation shall act as a disqualification of an applicant;
      (5)   An applicant whose license issued under this subchapter has been revoked for cause;
      (6)   An applicant who, at the time of application for renewal of any license issued hereunder, would not be eligible for such license upon a first application;
      (7)   A partnership, unless all members of the partnership shall be qualified to obtain a license;
      (8)   A corporation, unless all principal officers (president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer) will qualify to obtain a license;
      (9)   An applicant whose place is conducted by a manager or agent unless such manager or agent possesses the same qualifications required of all licensees;
      (10)   An applicant who has been convicted of a violation of any federal or state law concerning manufacture, possession, or sale of alcoholic liquor, subsequent to passage of the ordinance codified in this subchapter;
      (11)   An applicant who does not own the premises for which a license is sought or does not have a lease thereon for the full period for which the license is to be issued; and
      (12)   Law enforcing public officers, the Mayor, or Trustees of the village, and no such official shall be interested in any way, either directly or indirectly, in the manufacture, sale, or distribution of alcoholic liquor.

   (B)   No license shall be issued by the Mayor of this municipality permitting the sale, purchase, and/or consumption of alcoholic liquor in or on the property of Schneider Park and/or Brighton Village Hall, located in the village, except for the village or a village committee.
