§ 32.49 REQUIRED HOURS OF SERVICE.
   (A)   Monthly requirement. All persons assuming the responsibilities and duties of a special police officer in the village under the provisions of this subchapter shall be required to perform special police duties for a minimum of ten hours per month, said duties to be assigned by the Chief of Police to each special police officer monthly.
   (B)   Failure to perform; dismissal. Failure to perform such duties for a minimum of ten hours per month for three successive months shall be grounds for dismissal as a special police officer for the village.
   (C)   Fulfilling deficiency. Months in which a special police officer does not have a minimum of ten hours of duties as a special police officer may fulfill the deficiency in the following month.
   (D)   Compliance with rules and regulations. Each special police officer shall be required to observe and be regulated by all the rules and regulations of the regular police force of the village, with the exception that any special police officer shall not be required to be a resident of the village.
