The compensation of the Village Treasurer shall be as established from time to time by resolution passed by the Board of Trustees and on file in the office of the Village Clerk. The Village Treasurer shall not be entitled to any benefits, such as health insurance, nor participation in the state’s Municipal Retirement Fund, as offered to other employees of the village. Any such benefits granted to the Treasurer shall be by vote of the Board of Trustees.
