§ 31.35 APPOINTMENT; TERM; QUALIFICATIONS.
   The Village Treasurer shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Village Board of Trustees. The Village Treasurer shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor and Board of Trustees, and until his or her successor is appointed and qualified, as provided by 65 ILCS 5/3.1-10-6.
