(A) The provisions of 65 ILCS 5/11-31-1, entitled “Unsafe Property,” are hereby adopted as the procedure and guide for the handling of such unsafe properties located in the village.
(B) Upon the declaration of a property being found to be unsafe and dangerous by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the village, the village authorities will act under the guidelines of said statute in providing the demolition, repair, enclosure, or remediation of said property.
