(A) There is hereby created the office of Village Collector, an administrative office of the village. Said office, with its functions, duties, and responsibilities, shall be combined and held by one person, the Village Clerk.
(B) Pursuant to division (A) above, the Village Clerk is hereby appointed Village Collector, and pursuant to said code, said Village Collector shall receive compensation for both offices.
(C) The term of the office of Village Collector shall be co-extensive with and shall not exceed that of the Village Clerk’s appointment, whose term shall expire on April 30, 2025.
(D) As Village Collector, the Village Clerk shall receive compensation. Said compensation shall be paid in increments in the manner of payments made to all other employees of the village. The Village Clerk shall continue to receive his or her salary as Village Clerk.
