§ 31.16 BOND.
   Before entering upon the duties of such office, the Village Clerk shall execute a bond in such amount and with such sureties as may be required by the Village Board of Trustees, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the duties of such office. The bond of the Village Clerk shall be filed with the Village Treasurer.
