§ 110.06 ISSUANCE OF BUSINESS LICENSE.
   (A)   (1)   If, after due consideration of the information contained with the application and related investigative reports, the corporate authorities shall determine that the matters concerning the application do not meet the standards set forth by this code, they shall object to the issuance of a business license. Any objections shall be immediately given by written notice to the applicant informing them of the objection(s).
      (2)   The matter shall then be referred to the Board of Trustees and the applicant shall be entitled to a hearing before such Board at the next scheduled Village Board of Trustee meeting, provided it is within the time limitations of the Open Meetings Act, being 5 ILCS 120.
   (B)   (1)   All licenses issued pursuant to this subchapter shall bear the signature of the Mayor and Village Clerk. No license shall be valid until signed, nor shall any person be deemed to be licensed until the same shall have been issued to him or her in due form.
      (2)   All licenses which have not been revoked as of the date of expiration thereof shall be renewed automatically upon application therefor and the payment of the license fee.
