§ 32.002 ELIGIBILITY AND QUALIFICATIONS.
   (A)   All elective officers of the city shall be chosen by the registered voters of the city.
   (B)   A person may become a candidate for any elected municipal office if:
      (1)   The person is a registered voter in the city; and
      (2)   The person has been a resident for at least 12 consecutive months immediately before the date of the election; and
      (3)   Meet the other requirements of the Utah Code Annotated.
   (C)   If any elected official shall at any time during his or her term of office live outside the boundaries of the city for a continuous period of more than 60 days or establish residence outside the city during his or her term of office the office shall thereby become automatically vacant.
