§ 117.002 LICENSE PROCEDURE.
   Any person desiring to engage in a business regulated by this chapter shall make application to the Department for such license. Each applicant at the time of filing his or her application, and each prospective employee of a licensee herein, shall appear in person before the city’s Chief of Police who shall inquire of him or her as to his or her experience and qualifications and other basic requirements as herein provided to engage in such business. Each person is required to provide his, her or their personal criminal history report. The Chief of Police shall then file his or her written findings and recommendations with the Department. The Department shall either issue or deny such license or allow said employment based upon the recommendations of the Chief of Police and pursuant to §§ 110.032 of this code of ordinances and § 117.004 of this chapter, and upon the payment of the required fee.
