The original application for a license under this subchapter shall be referred to the Community Development Department for investigation as to whether or not the requirements of the land use ordinances and building codes have been complied with. The Community Development Department shall report to the Department within seven days as to the fitness of the apartment house, rental dwelling unit or mobile home park regarding compliance with said codes.
