§ 114.001 DEFINITION.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   AGENT, LOCAL OR RESIDENT. A person who resides in the state.
   APARTMENT HOUSE or APARTMENT. Any building so arranged, designed, built, rented, loaned, let or hired out to be used or occupied as the home, residence or dwelling unit of three or more families living independently of each other. As used herein, the term APARTMENT HOUSE shall include three-family dwellings, four-family dwellings and multi-family dwellings.
   DWELLINGS.
      (1)   DWELLING, FOUR-FAMILY. A building arranged or designed to be occupied by four families, the structure having only four dwelling units.
      (2)   DWELLING, MULTI-FAMILY. A building arranged or designed to be occupied by more than four families, and having more than four dwelling units.
      (3)   DWELLING, SINGLE-FAMILY. A building arranged or designed to be occupied by one family, the structure having only one dwelling unit.
      (4)   DWELLING, THREE-FAMILY. A building arranged or designed to be occupied by three families, the structure having only three dwelling units.
      (5)   DWELLING, TWO-FAMILY. A building arranged or designed to be occupied by two families, the structure having only two dwelling units.
   MOBILE HOME.
      (1)   A structure that is transportable in one or more sections, built on a permanent chassis and designed to be used without a permanent foundation when connected to the required utilities.
      (2)   It does not include recreational vehicles or travel trailers.
   MOBILE HOME PARK. Any plot of ground upon which two or more mobile homes, occupied for dwelling or sleeping purposes, are located, regardless of whether or not a charge is made for such accommodation.
   MOBILE HOME SPACE. A plot of ground within a mobile home park which is designed for the accommodation of one mobile home.
   OWNER. The person having ownership.
   PERSON. Includes any individual, group of individuals, partnership, corporation, association or other legal entity.
   RENTAL DWELLING UNIT. Any individual dwelling unit that is rented, loaned, let or hired out to be used or occupied as a home or residence.
