§ 52.129 ANALYTICAL REQUIREMENTS CONSTANT.
   (A)   All pollutant analyses, including sampling techniques, to be submitted as part of a wastewater discharge permit application, report, permit or other requirement by this ordinance shall be performed in accordance with the techniques prescribed in 40 C.F.R. part 136 and amendments thereto, unless otherwise specified in an applicable categorical pretreatment standard. If 40 C.F.R. part 136 does not contain sampling or analytical techniques for the pollutant in question, or where the EPA determines that the part 136 sampling and analytical techniques are inappropriate for the pollutant in question, sampling and analyses shall be performed by using validated analytical methods or any other applicable sampling and analytical procedures, including procedures suggested by the POTW manager or other parties approved by EPA.
   (B)   All laboratory samples collected for this ordinance shall be analyzed by a laboratory that is either certified by the state’s Department of Health Environmental Laboratory Certification program or another laboratory approved by the POTW manager. The following must be met for field methods or analysis completed by the permittee: the analysis must adhere to the requirements of 40 C.F.R. part 136 and/or have been approved by the POTW manager for analysis by the User.
