§ 30.020 PARDONING POWER; REMISSION OF FINES.
   The Mayor is authorized to release a person imprisoned for a violation of a municipal ordinance or to remit all or any part of a fine or penalty imposed. The Mayor shall report at the next regular meeting of the Council the number of fines and the amounts thereof so remitted, and the number of pardons granted, giving his or her reasons therefor.
