Off-street parking for persons with disabilities shall be provided in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), being 42 U.S.C. §§ 12101 et seq., or its successor statute, and the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards. Handicapped parking spaces shall be provided in off-street parking lots and shall count towards fulfilling the minimum automobile required parking. The number, location and identification of handicapped parking spaces required shall be determined by the most current Building Code adopted by the city.
